KayelaJ, a female lyricist was born and raised in Northeast Portland, Oregon. Featured in publications such as Willamette Week, Portland Mercury, and Vortex Magazine, and has performed live on KGW's Tonight with Cassidy. She has released three singles on all popular streaming platforms including iMusic and Spotify and recently released a Mixtape titled "Homage (Thank You)" on SoundCloud and Youtube. Next she plans to drop visuals for "Homage" and release an all original project late 2019.

Portland rapper Bocha, aka Mocha with a B, developed his melodic, often abstract, zealous sound and style over a series of self-released singles and mixtapes during the mid 2010’s. His earliest project, "Misfortune In Portland" (released 2015), featured rawer production while illustrating an everyday life of a delinquent from the northwest. Following up with a visual for his single, "Misfortune In Portland", filmed by Nik (Puurple) Popp, he quickly became a forerunner for Portland’s hip hop scene. After dropping a visual for his smash single, "Everyday" (filmed by Puurple), Bocha released his, "YET" EP (released 2016). The vigorous, uptempo project brought the feel of a promising future for the young MC, and also featured, now label-mate, Donte Thomas. The two later came together to develop Produce Organic Records in which their collaborative project, "Garden Boys" EP (released 2017), was released under. Bocha has recently released his project “M.A.A.N.” (Maturing As A Nigga) before 2018 comes to a close. All produced by super producer Sxlxmxn now available on all streaming platforms. 2019 is looking like a great year for young Boch!

Local artist, COVI., is fresh off the release of his debut LP, "Escalate With Me". This follows a phenomenal November release of the music video for his single "Better Days" directed by Riley Brown. According to Portland Mercury's Jenni Moore, "The song itself also knocks. Covi. keeps a low tone as he sing-raps through the chorus and spits smooth verses over vibey production by Austin Chapline." COVI. pulls from his own life experiences to inspire and connect with his community. More from Portland Mercury's Jenni Moore about "Escalate With Me", "It’s pretty impressive, especially for it being his first album. The project is something of a coming-of-age story, with COVI. embracing manhood and yearning for more substance in his relationships. In addition to the single “Better Days,” highlights include the melodic “Man Now,” featuring fellow Portland rapper Bocha, the rhythmic and danceable “Sweet Tooth,” with Janaeture and De’Aires, and the romance-focused “4 Me,” which features some gorgeous R&B vocals from Nikki Hayes. I look forward to whatever COVI. does next."

DJ Fountaine

"Fountaine’s original sound, versatility and bouncy stage presence make his shows an interactive treat." -Jenni Moore, Portland Mercury
